Hello!

I need a good source of antioxidants but can’t swallow tablets. Can any one help with some ideas?

  • I believe green tea is full of antioxidants.

  • Fish oil is known to be prevalent in anti oxidants. If you buy the capsules, you can pop them and squeeze the oil out for easier use. I’m unsure if you can just buy the liquid form, but worth asking

  • Lots of beautiful yummie foods are rich in antioxidants like dark chocolate, kale, goji berries . Here’s a nice list https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/foods-high-in-antioxidants#section9

  • Look up google, also all teas especially herbal ones, fruits, berries, green vegies , I am sure there are more…

  • Leafy green vegetables. Green tea. Red wine and chocolate :)))) Fish

  • great responses from the other mums

  • 2 table spoons of chia seeds soaked in hot water. It takes a bit of getting used to but is a major anti oxidant boost!

  • Make up fruit smoothies, with raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and a good spoonful of Chia seeds in the smoothie. Prunes, raisins, plums. oranges, black grapes, cherries, kale, spinach, brussel sprouts, alfalfa, broccoli, red beets, capsicum, onions, corn & eggplant are all high in antioxidants too.

  • there are some good comments here

  • Maybe try a berry juice – berries are full of antioxidants and the juice could be part of your breakfast meal.

  • blue berries, goji berries :)

  • Chia seeds. They are flavourless. 1 tablespoon a day I have mine on my breaky cereal but can be added to almost any food or drink. Supermarkets sell them in the health food isle.

  • Go to happy herb shop browns plains, they have lots of stuff in there
