Continue milk feeds as normal.
As they say “food before one is just for fun”.
Definitely at 6 months of age – milk should always be offered before any solids (eg wakeup, milk feed, half an hour later have solids).
At 6 months you’re really just aiming for first tastes. Milk should still be their primary source of food for a while yet so keep doing what you’re doing. Over the next few months gradually reduce number of feeds or quantity of milk (if bottle fed) as you increase the solids they are eating. Don’t be stressed about them ‘eating’ at the moment, you’re just getting them used to different tastes and textures. Eventually you’ll offer food before milk until weaning completely. Good luck, it’s a fun and messy time!
