Hello!

My daughter’s hair is looking dull and lifeless. Does anyone know of a health tonic I can buy? I bought one from a pharmacy years ago that was fantastic but I can’t remember the name. Those hair and nails tablets don’t seem to work either. No shampoos do the trick either and her diet is very well maintained.

  • Maybe try some volumising products. They help me when my hairs a little flat and lifeless

  • Nice to read the different advices

  • Argan oil can help a lot. You should be able to buy this almost anywhere.

  • Wash with Bicarb and rinse with apple cider vinegar ,,, google No Poo!

  • I used the treatment in the review section here and it was great. Would give it a good

  • I used sea salt spray, helps to give my hair volume

  • use olive oil and almond oil and then shower,, it would give you best results

  • Moroccan oil is great for lifeless or dull hair. Mine was the same

  • use a hot oil in her hair regularly

  • I actually used to give myself a hair mask of olive oil or Mayo once a week!

  • I know that you said you’ve tried different shampoos and conditioners, but I’d thoroughly recommend giving John Frieda hair care products a try. They’ve made the world of difference to my hair. There’s also a leave-in conditioner available from some hairdressers and specialist shops made by PPS called “The Ends”. It’s in a blue tube, and it’s absolutely brilliant.

  • Go to doc and get to see a specialist to see if there is something that can be done … otherwise go for natural products in your shampoo and conditioner there are a few different brands at the chemist warehouse

  • there are some good comments here

  • Speak to a hairdresser? They will have handy hints

  • Some good advice there below.

  • My daughter had problems with her hair and the hairdresser gave it a good wash and trim. She also recommended a shampoo and conditioner which was specific to her hair type and problems and also some styling products.

  • Evening primrose oil? Or maybe a chat to your hairdresser?

  • Try asking a hairdresser, they could tell u options

  • Some really good suggestions here.

  • Maybe there is something lacking in her diet which is then reflecting in the dull hair?
