Get dentist advice! As your teeth stains are different to everyone else’s and will work with different products

I was wondering whether charcoal toothpaste helps or not

I would definitely go to a dentist and use professional products, otherwise you will get discolouration.

I’ve read that bicarb soda on a toothbrush is a good whitener. Other then that, I would only try the supermarket whiteners.

A good question that I have been pondering for some time too! I am interested to see what is suggested here. I have tried some of the ‘so-called’ whitening toothpastes but with no results at all …..

consulting a dentist is probably the safest option

I’ve asked this same question to my dentist and she encourages me to have ‘natural teeth’…but I really would like them whiter. One thing she has said to me though is that because I have sensitive teeth, I need to avoid whitening toothpastes because it will make my teeth more sensitive.

Brushing teeth with baking soda works for me.

I use opti white by Colgate but only for a week to get them white as I hear it can damage enamel. Then I use Colgate total as recommended by my dentist but I’m keen to hear others opinions from their dentists

I would ask your dentist as you want the safest option. I did use a supposedly whitening tooth past and it did nothing.
