The uterine lining provides nourishment and sustenance for an embryo and is a necessary part of pregnancy. When the lining is thin, usually less than 7mm, the body cannot sustain an embryo and a growing fetus. Estrogen treatment may be possible

I haven’t been told not to. My advice would be to follow medical advice, Dr often knows best

I had this issue in my 20s. Before I had babies. I had amenorrhoea- no periods and my lining was super thin. I was on meds for about a year trying to fall pregnant. I found progesterone helped alot with thickening my lining

My mother in law has this same issue. She has three kids, but on having her third was told that they could literally see her son’s hair through the uterus wall. She was told that she couldn’t have any more kids – all of hers were via c-section too due to her narrow hips. If you have more you can run the risk of the uterus bursting I believe. Wouldn’t recommend if you have this issue.

Wow interesting never heard of this. Can ask one of the midwives at my work and pist answer.

I haven’t experienced this but a friends mother was told another pregnancy would be very dangerous and when in labour with my friend her uterus split open. Luckily she had made it to the hospital otherwise it may have ended differently. If you want another baby I would take into serious consideration drs advice.

I have not had this particular experience, but was told not to have more children for other medical reasons. It is difficult if you don’t feel you’re done, but you will eventually find peace with it. It took me a while, though.

With my 3rd pregnancy after having cesareans previously I had to have the 3rd delivered at 37 weeks by cesarean & a repair job as he was a big baby & my uterus had ruptured. I was told it was best to have my tubes tied as any more pregnancies would be too risky. I was OK with that, as I had only planned on having the 3.

Thin uterus lining can have different causes and in some case you can do something about it. However I’m not an expert and would suggest to talk with your obtrician or gynaecologist

My sister in law has had 8 c-sections with the last pregnancy being twins so she has 9 kids in total!
She was always told after 2 it becomes dangerous but it can’t be that bad as her sister who has 5 kids has also had all c-sections.

You uterus lining changes each cycle…there are def things you can do to increase the lining..I did…I have a 1mm lining and then bow each cycle I have it much thicker….speak to a fertility specialist. Or even fertility dietican
