It will be a bit of a set back with study and work, but that’ll be true no matter when you have another baby. I chose to have my third sooner rather than later, on the basis that it was easier to re-start work after that than starting, stopping, starting again.

Maybe work out what your bills are yearly and break them up into fortingihtly payments and deduct your families current earnings. Dont forget to add emergency money/savings, electricity, rates, mortgage/rent, groceries, fuel, frequent tolls etc. Once this is done then add on the cost it would be for having a 3rd child. eg, nappies, formula, panadol/nurofen, extra clothes, child care costs. This should give you a rough idea if you will be living beyond your means. Good luck
