The Gold Coast is great for family activities. Up north say Cairns has beautiful sight seeing locations and the Great Barrier Reef. Depends which part of QLD you are going to?
Depending on what part of QLD you are going to. There is so much to see in QLD wether it’s north, south, east or west. Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast is great for families.
Depends what part of QLD. If it’s the Gold Coast there is so much to see and do for a family but try and make time to travel out a little and see Australia Zoo as well. Then there’s all the natural wonders such as the Great Barrier Reef.
QLD is quite vast, we found once travel opened we were able to make a great trip to see undara, chilligo caves, and Cobbold gorge. Fair bit of driving but all beautiful
I found a lot of places are not close and if you pay for trips by coach as they pick you up at the hotel and drop you back which I think is good as saves you trying to find places. So best you work out what you like but there are lots to see and do and I did a week but could of been a bit longer as goes so quick.
QLD is large, can you pin point a particular place or are you flying in/hiring a car or going via car/road trip. It does make a difference to locations and to answers, thanks.
So much to see and do, we love the outback especially fossicking around Quilpe, exploring Longreach, dinosaurs in Winton, Charleville space centre and weather balloon release. Of course there’s the great barrier Reef which is worth seeing anywhere between 1770 and Port Douglas, the turtle hatchings near Bargara and then a surprise favourite of our the Capricorn caves near Rockhampton and fossicking for Thunder eggs at Mount Hay. That’s without mentioning the Cape, the Gold Coast, Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. It’s a big state.
A must day out at AUSTRALIA ZOO 1638 Steve Irwin Way, Beerwah QLD 4519. So clean and affordable and the animals are well looked after and some roam around with their keepers and you can interact with them. The shows on at different times during the day so there is plenty to see and do and the food shops/cafes are affordable too! Gets my vote as the best wildlife park in Queensland.
