Had the injection two days ago. No issue with the actual injection, which my gp administered. But her it us two days later and no change to the pain levels. Apparently tge injection included anaesthetic, which I thought would reduce pain, but it didn’t. Am hoping it’s going to work, but at least I’ll know what to expsct if I need another one

My mum had it and said it hurt a lot but the outcome was worth it.

My husband has had it also, relief was pretty quick from the pain. The injection sight was sore for a while because I believe they have to be pretty accurate and if they don’t it can hurt a bit more. Definitely worth a small amount of pain for relief from the bursitis though – good luck I am sure you will be fine and feel heaps better afterwards

I haven’t but husband has. It hurts but gave good relief in a couple of days. I also worked with a few people who did and the specialist said if it didn’t give relief the injection wasn’t in the right site so you should get good relief but it won’t be instant.

Yay! I’m live!! Looking forward to and can’t wait to see MoMs hints and tips and hopefully some advice from those with first hand experience. I’m booked in on 26th march for injection, hoping to gave something from you before then ????
