Hello!

I’m desperately seeking a natural homeopathy way to combat water retention. On hot days I become a sweat-ball, particularly my face and neck. Thanks

  • Eat less salt, get your kidney function checked and your heart.

  • in our home we add salt to our water especially salt with minerals like himilayan salt might help keep your fluids in more and last longer..

  • I’d visit GP to ensure there are not medical issues… If all is well then you need to reduce your sodium intake. High sodium diets will cause you to hold water. So decrease sodium and increase water. The more you drink the more you will expell

  • limit your salt intake and keep up the fluids

  • I would check with your doctor just to make sure something else is not wrong.

  • agree, drink more water and avoid salt

  • It sounds weird but drink more water!

  • there are some good comments here

  • you have my problems i glad you have the courage to ask

  • I find peppermint tea reduces water retention, also apple cider vinegar. Though you can down a shot of ap. cid. vinegar straight, you can also put it on a salad or in a smoothie.

  • I hope you found a solution

  • Interesting answers. I hope some helped you

  • hope it all works out

  • Some good answers here that i can try too

  • Reduce salt and try a good brand celery seed tablet combined with vit B6. This combo reduced my water retention as much as one size in jeans. You need to go to the loo heaps though so best on days you are home.

  • Cut out as much salt as you can in your diet and drink room temp/warm water with fresh lemon juice in it. Works wonders and also helps speed up your metabolism. Good luck.

  • I had the worst fluid retention when pregnant, to the point I could not tell the difference between my knee and my ankle and I was unable to bend them. I found dandelion tea was the only thing that got rid of it with plenty of water, I would drink 3ltrs a day. It sounds crazy but the more water you drink, the less fluid you retain. Good luck :)

  • I know this might sounds silly, but in erase your water intake! You want to flush the toxins out of your body.

  • Limit your salt intake, salt helps to retain fluid

  • Make sure you get checked out medically first to rule out any gland or other problems
