Hello!

We are going on a family holiday over the week after Christmas, so we will be there for New Years Eve. So I am just wondering if anyone knew of any New years Eve events or had some ideas on how to spend the celebration with young kids 1 to 10 year olds whilst staying on the island.

What can I do with kids for new years eve in Phillip Island?

  • Hi –
Phillip Island is a very popular Christmas/NY destination, so there should be heaps on. I agree to check with the owner/manager of where you are staying, as they should have great local knowledge. We visited the Island Summer Carnival last year & the kids loved it http://www.visitphillipisland.com/listing/island-summer-carnival/. The Woolamai Races are also on NY Day, which could provide a fun family experience. Amanda

  • If you can get some information from the Tourist Information Centre in advance. They may post you some information about events. If you know which Council Area Phillip Island is in they may send you some information. I don’t know if you can find any information on google at all. Maybe you could contact the place you are staying at for information. If you know somebody that lives over there or in Melbourne they may be able to help you.
