  • Front loader. Look of them, the easy of pulling the laundry out into the basket

  • Hi I prefer a front loader and has a samsung front loader that i use it for my laundry clean and good program

  • Top loader every time for me…
I think the Top loaders wash more effectively but there are many reasons why I don’t like the front loaders.
Firstly if you forget to put something in the load, you cannot open it to put something in once the cycle has started and it takes a considerable amount of time to open the door after it has finished its cycle.
Secondly, my grandchildren’s little socks get caught around the inside of the viewing window where all of the lint gets caught and thirdly, I have never seen any front loader that is effective in spinning the water out.
Lastly the front loaders are way too small in capacity and if you put too much in, it dosnt wash properly.

  • I’ve only ever had a front loader, but I love it.

  • I’ve now bought a replacement washing machine – my old top loader lasted 29 years. I’m hoping this new top loader will also go the distance too. I love reading everyone’s opinions.

  • I had them both. I found that one of the greatest pros of a top loader is that you can add wash during the program. However I found the wash comes out cleaner with a front loader.

  • I always had a top loader, but because everyone seemed to be going the front loader way. I decided to get one. Well that would be one of my worst decisions ever. It smells, it practically shakes the house down. It constantly needs draining and cleaning. I really miss a top loader.

  • I prefer a top loader because it’s harder for kids to climb into it.

  • I have a top loader one which has a high water saving star rating. If I miss putting something extra in I can lift the lid and put it in. A relative mine bought a front load washing machine and now she is getting a little older she finds it difficult removing the wet clothes. A friend of mine also has a frontloader and had washing in it. A friend was staying there, paused thewashing machine opened the door and flooded the laundry.

  • Top loader for me. I’ve even chosen my next washing machine, and it too will be a top loader.

  • Front loader. I find it so much better than the top one. I had them both in my life.

  • I love my Miele front loader… it uses minimal water.

  • Front loader cheaper and more efficient.

  • Top loader for sure. They’re just way more convenient to use. :)

  • Front loader for efficiency; but top loader for size. Both have pros and cons!

  • Front loader I guess because of their efficiency, not so good though if you have to stop it mid cycle!

  • front loader
    cleaner clothes,water and power efficient

  • I personally prefer a top loader. I find my clothes come out cleaner for some reason. I also like the option of being able to throw things in once the water has filled up which you can’t do with a front loader. Although the benefit of a front loader is being able to wall mount it to free up space

  • Front loader. It means you can store a dryer directly above it without any dramas

  • for me top loader, just easier for me really
