Sword in the stone is my favourite – have watched it so many times.

My kids are quite young still so we love a lot of animated and Disney movies. Encanto, Moana, Frozen, Toy Story are always hits. We enjoyed watching the new Jumunji the other night. We make popcorn or snacks and sometimes a food platter/cheese board

I watched Hidden Figures with my family and we all loved it. A real “feel good” movie.

Homeward bound, pippi Longstockings, little rascals, home alone, Andre, airbud, look who’s talking, I love animal ones hehe

we love How to Train Your Dragon, my son adores Dr Quinn Medicine Woman series (believe it or not), we also adore Disney films, and there is a movie out called Dinotopia which is absolutely lovely.
I love snuggling up with my family like that and watching a flick too…

Fly away home, homeward bound, born free, free willy (animal lovers here hehe) Shrek, nemo, toy story.

I love popcorn or chips / biscuits and dip but also some mixed lollies or chocolate for that sweet aspect 🙂

I highly recommend Oddball, it’s such a great movie. I also try to dig up movies we grew up with as kids: singing in the rain, lassie, Shirley temple, BMX bandits, Mary Poppins, the muppets, babe, freaky friday (not the LiLo version!), the parent trap and fly away home.
We don’t go overboard on the lollies as I don’t want them to associate watching movies and eating junk food. We tend to make it special by eating a picnic dinner on a rug in the lounge room while watching TV.

Oh such amazing ideas =) Thanks!! Love the idea about the library, never thought of that lol even though we go to the library and I think about hiring some… (I usually download lol). But that sounds like a good idea, then the kids can choose a movie each and go from there =)

We have watched “Mirror Mirror” lately. Funny! Next one will be “Minions” I guess

The latest favourites in this household would be Minions, Inside Out and some of the golden oldies too.

We like inside out. Mary Poppins is always fun too

We camp out on the lounge room floor, popcorn, chocolate and chips. Torches. Late night. I love The Lion King. An oldie but a goodie and with so many happy family memories for me.

Depends on the age of your kids? I would suggest borrowing a selection of kids movies from your local library. A good way of trying lots of different DVD’s and finding out which ones your kids like too. DVD night is often take away night too. Double treat time! 🙂

Minions is a great movie our whole family enjoys, Beauty and the Beast has just been re-released and that’s always good, there’s also a walt disney short film collection thats just come out,
