Hello!

My two boys (4 & 3) are great with breakfast & lunch but dinner is a struggle?

  • I did no snacks between lunch and dinner and made dinner on time when they were little.

  • If it’s possible, give them a larger lunch mabe dinner style and then a snack/lunch type foods for dinner. Occasionally my boys will have cereal for dinner as they’ve eaten a lot/larger meal at Nanny & Pa’s house or daycare. If I can on the weekend, I’ll give them dinner for lunch and then I don’t have to fuss as much over dinner when I could be enjoying it myself!!

  • I believe if there eating breakfast and lunch that their growing little bodies are just not wanting the extra food at this stage. I would be worried if they stopped eating! It’s normal, just know that especially at their ages so don’t panic. Keep feeding well as you are doing, you sound like your doing a perfect job.

  • Dinner can be fun try to make things simple its great to hide veggies in food and sometimes bring them out a little what’s exactly hard about meal time keep it regular and try not to chnage the time at mealtime
