Aeroguard has an odourless spray and it is fantastic!

I checked out Bushmans. It has a high concentration of a chemical called DEET. It is considered toxic and has been banned in some countries. At the moment it is narrowed down to Aerogard roll-on or Off and stay away from people affected by it until the smell goes. I believe they have citronella lamps or candles outside. Hopefully that will deter them from hanging around the doorways.

We use Citronella spray. It does have a certain smell but I hope it will not be too irritating to the nose.

This is a great question that you have asked… Im going to try the Bushman as well as the scent of most are to strong scented.. might also look in the off spray as well

I will have to look at the Bushman – I struggle with most insect repellents but am very affected by mozzie bites.

My son and I both have asthma and get affected by strong odours, in my experience Bushman insect repellant is the best one we’ve used, and you can buy it in a spray bottle (as well as a pressurised can) or roll-on so minimal vapor. It doesn’t really have a smell which is awesome, plus they have some with sunscreen now too so you don’t have to double up on applications but I personally haven’t tried the stuff with sunscreen yet.

Off may be a good option if it is suitable for use in tropical climate conditions.
I have never heard of that one before. I will check the local Pharmacy as I checked everything that even resembled personal insect repellant in the Supermarket.

Off is the best odourless one that I have used, also isn’t sticky like most.

You friend can use Nivea which I can’t so maybe I can help – I can only use sorbolene cream with no fragrance – I am also asthmatic but am also allergic to perfume & have extremely sensitive skin, the only deodorant I can use is Rexona hypo allergenic & as for soap, shampoo, washing powder, cleaning products, etc – I need to be very careful what I do use – but as I am also allergic to mosquito’s & live in the bush where we have plenty of them I have found I can use the only the Aeroguard brand spray but only the low irritant one & sometimes I have found it works best for me if I just have someone spray my clothes (but I tend to wear long loose clothing when out near mosquito’s – so only my face is left exposed) & hair well while I cover my mouth then I move from that spot as the gas seems to linger & affect my breathing (I do use my ventolin first though) – also others always walk away from me to spray themselves. This seems to stop me from being bitten but if your friend can have product on skin spray some on hands first & gently wipe on forehead,cheeks, chin & neck for full coverage.
