Hello!

I received a bottle of Organic Rose Hip Oil for Christmas. Does anyone swear by this and know what it helps? I assume its for the face but when I applied it before work last week I had an orange face all day!

  • I love rose hip oil but a little goes a long way… You only need a few drops for your whole face. Its great for dryness and fine lines…

  • Rose-hip is wonderful,it is a serum you apply under your daily skin care.

  • I started using this oil as I did research and found it is rich in antioxidants. I had lines on my neck ( signs of age I think ) and after a week or two the lines subsided and my neck was so smooth . In winter I apply the oil in the evenings under my night cream as my skin is quite dry in winter. The oil is yellow-orange in nature , but never heard of skin going orange . Maybe you applied too much . Only a small amount is needed as it is quite a rich oil and use it at night time only .

  • Isn’t it a vital ingredient in arthritis medication? A natural treatment any way. Not sure in the straight oil though. It’s obviously not for your face though. But don’t go drinking it cos of what I’ve said…….just in case

  • I use it at night under my eyes and on my lines. Really live it and only need a drop it goes a long way

  • Rose hip oil rocks, I use it for scars and as a facial and body moisturiser. Great for sensitive skin and I personally think it keeps you looking young!!

  • I have also been told it is good for scars but I have never used it before.

  • you used to much, you only use a drop and it is great for fine lines and scaring

  • It’s used for scaring and stretch marks!

  • Rosehip Oil is great for scars, and to combat some of the signs of aging. I use it at night on my neck and chest, and also on a scar from Radiotherapy for skin cancer. I found it too heavy for use during the day.

  • It sounds great, I will have to buy some.

  • there are some good comments here

  • I might have to get some :)

  • Scarring my daughter was burned as baby we used rosehip oil on scar once healed – hardly noticeable now

  • It’s for the face. It’s for healing and anti ageing…Great stuff

  • I thought it was good for stretch marks but seems from the other answers that it has more uses!

  • Scars and Stretch marks and I guess it would also be good on dry skin.

  • Rose hip oil is good for reduce the impact of scarring or acne.

  • I haven’t used this product, but heard it was great for your skin, not sure about turning orange though if I have a question about a product, I useually contact the manufacturer, I did this with an Olay product which had had great review but didn’t work for me and they gave me advice and sent me an alternative product.
