  • Oh wow, so many hair replacement products are duds and scams. I hope you find something legit

  • I was hoping some had used a product that worked. I have been looking for a shampoo and conditioner too. Thank you @azmaz I am going to see if I can find Bondi Boost Intensive Spray.

  • less stress

  • I have just started my daughter on supplements and a shampoo and conditioner from Bondi boost. It was expensive but goes a long way and we can already see results

  • Oh that would be scarey. I’ve always had lovely thick hair, so I have no suggestions, hope someone else can help

  • Hey WLS patient here to! Up your protein! Try add tasteless protein to your coffees, etc. It helps alot!!

  • Nutritious eating

  • Liaison Bond has been the first product I’ve used for hair loss that seems to make a difference. I’ve used and tried lots of products over the years for my thin, extremely fine hair.

  • Following this as since pregnancy my hair has not been the same and falling out quite a bit as well.
Not sure if it’s hormones or just old age!

  • Always do lots of research before purchasing any products and it is a good idea to seek professional advice.

  • Invarti hair products from Aveda worked for a friend and I found that they helped to thicken my thin hair but only if I kept using the products. They are not cheap but they do work.

  • Rosemary oil is reputed good for hair loss.. but I would also consult with your GP and surgeon on what they feel is necessary.

  • Shedding hair three to five months after weight-loss surgery is a relatively common occurrence that happens from losing weight rapidly, not getting enough protein, and the general stress your body goes through from surgery.
If hair loss happens after weight loss surgery, don’t worry; it will grow back! Hair loss rarely lasts more than six months after the surgery. If you do experience hair loss for longer than 12 months, be sure to let your surigical team know.

  • Hopefully someone can answer with something they have actually tried & tested themselves but I think a referral to a specialist would be best as there are so many scamming type products out there.

  • A GP/specialist might be able to provide support and referral to someone that specialises in the area of hair loss. Possibly even a follow up with the professionals that performed the surgery.
