    Today in my shop at my local IGA shop I looked for value for money. Looking for those IGA members tickets and weekly savings tickets. Family of four that is the way I shop. Saving my dollars & getting a smile & nice conversation at the register is what makes shipping at these little IGA stores that bit special nut to mention packing my groceries in a recycled box makes me want to came back even more. I was given a $60 IGA VISA card today & my shop came to $60.70 so I think I did really well with some essentials. Thank you mouth of mums & IGA

  • My Favourite shop!

    When going shopping im always first to go to IGA. It is my absolute favourite place to shop and has so many awesome brands that cater to my dietary needs, i am someone who values quality and simple ingredients but also has affordability in mind. IGA does just that. Would give more stars if i could!

  • Love my local IGA

    IGA is such a hidden gem. So close to home, easy to navigate, and stocks our favourite brands. The stores are always neat and tidy and the produce is fresh. The catalogue deals and 3 day specials mean I can save a few dollars every time I shop. Cash Back on the IGA Rewards app is a great incentive too!

  • Local and simple

    I love shopping at the local IGA they cater better to the demographic of the area so they have a wide selection

    Of international and local items and it's all in the one stop which I love. I also like to go to IGA in other areas to see what different and exciting things they have especially vegetation and vegan items for the house they have different things always and that is why I will always pop in when I see a new one/one I haven't been to.

  • Love shopping for products I can’t find anywhere else

    I love shopping at my local IGA, I go there to get products that I can’t get any where else and for the wonderful customer service. They have a fantastic selection of every day items available, their deli and produce departments are always full with fresh stock and best of all, they still have their in-store butchers, so I can buy good quality meat. And their weekly specials are very good, too.

  • Mid week top up

    Our IGA Pit Stop Challenge was an easy breeze being able to grab a mid-week top up (valued at $60) to keep my active kids happy and healthy. Life can be hectic especially when school term resumes and after school activities take over. Being able to find our essential items at a value price and in conveniently located IGA stores is a huge help. Thanks IGA & Mouths of Mums for the Gift Card and fun challenge!

  • A lovely shopping experience!

    I find shopping at IGA super convenient, I love that their hours on the weekends are longer than traditional supermarkets so if I forget something it's super easy to pop in and grab what I need. Their range of fruit, vegetables and meat is also fresh and well varied and they carry a lot of more gourmet products too which is always fun.

  • Fresh and convenient

    I love how easy it is to swing by IGA and grab hot, delicious food that keeps everyone happy — pre‑made curries, roast chickens, spring rolls and more.

    It’s the perfect stop when you want something comforting, quick, and ready to enjoy.

    And yes… the fruit platter with chocolate dipping sauce is always a hit at home!

  • Great experience!

    IGA Dulwich Hill is one of the most beautifully presented and easily accessible supermarkets I have been to in a long time. The produce is display aesthetically, there is a great bread section and there are many products available here that you are unable to find else where. I managed to find everything I needed and stocked up on staples such as milk and bread but also managed to find some coffee on clearance that came in handy for our latest camping trip! The staff member was more than happy to use the supplied voucher and over all it was a wonderful shopping experience :) I also used the IGA app and added to my cash back!

  • What a Deal Breaker!

    I simply love visiting this IGA Rouse Hill store.Everything was readily available,store was well organised,clean, tidy and above all the staff was very friendly. I bought lot of groceries fron this store and the highlight was the shelves were full of stock and wide variety to choose from the items.

  • Clean, friendly & local

    Another incredible experience at Baldivis IGA, always so clean and Tidy. Incredible range of Australian made products, smaller businesses & international products. Their fresh produce section is always looking beautiful. Even had a lovely experience checking out with my toddler where he was gifted a squishy toy, incredible experience. Will be back to shop as always, cant wait to see what we try next.

    We love IGA Queen st village it's got great range of products and we found most there products are very reasonable and value for money . The meat and veg & bakery items are always fresh. The black and Gold range are great value for money for all must have staples and basic cheese ect.

  • Unfortunately when i went the shelves at north wyong were mostly empty like covid days!

    The man was polite and the store was mostly empty when i visited. There were plenty of hot chickens available and cold meat. The grocery shelves were mostly empty, including the freezers and fridge section. I asked the man if they had a shortage on deliveries and he replied no. I hope this store gets busy again as it is so convenient and they usually do wonderful deals on bulk meat which helps my family bidget. The stoire was clean and tidy, i will visit again in the future. The parking is right at the door too.

  • Convenience and quality

    I love our IGA near our home. It is closer than the big supermarkets and has extras like a sushi area and juices galore. I popped in for a quick dinner pitstop before school pick up. Highly recommend a hot chook and rolls for hungry little bellies.

  • Perfect for a quick top up

    I enjoy shopping at IGA because it’s quick, convenient and perfect for those in-between grocery shops. The staff were friendly, the store was well organised, and I didn’t have to spend ages finding what I needed. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable shopping experience, and I’d happily shop there again.

  • Convenient and good variety

    One thing I love about my local IGA, especially in winter, is how easy it is to pop in on the way home. The other day I stopped in to grab everything I needed for a pasta dinner, and it saved me from having to head back out once I was already cosy at home.

    It's perfect for those quick top-up shops when you've forgotten an ingredient or decide on dinner last minute. I can get what I need, head home, and enjoy a warm homemade meal without the extra hassle.

    It really fits into my everyday routine and makes winter shopping so much more convenient.

  • Fresh, local and wonderful service!

    Love supporting our local IGA! Their butchers know their stuff! always fresh, quality meat. The deli selection is fantastic, and the fruit and veg is consistently crisp and fresh. It’s so good having a proper local grocer with real service, not just a big chain. Highly recommend!

  • Definitely convenient

    While items might not have the best value for money, IGA is certainly a convenient stop in store. I love that they’re open late on Sundays and all day on public holidays. Some IGAs have a large product range (like Everton) but others have a very small range (like IGA zillmere).

    I shopped at my local IGA with great friendly service. I really enjoy the IGA cashback feature on my rewards. Sometimes I feel like I get more cashback than the product actually cost. It has a great range at this store.

  • Surprisingly heart-warming encounters at my local IGA!

    I was pretty surprised that just by popping by at night time to stock up on some essentials, I managed to make $60 last over three shops at a local IGA! I have a few near me, but I like going to the one at Bowden. The specials were clearly marked, and there was even a trolley full of perfectly good, marked-down produce! In today's day and age, it's such a help to have a dollar stretch even further.

    As a vegan, I found that everything I needed was catered for - from a range of vegan chocolates, to multiple different flavoured Kombuchas, ready meals, and a party bag - a PARTY BAG of Toobs! (They did not survive the drive home intact!)

    However, I have to say the thing that sticks with me about my visits to IGA Bowden is the staff. During my first shop, the young girl told me really excitedly how she had just got her drivers license! It warmed my heart. On my second visit, the man serving me had an interesting chat with me about creative ways to reuse all those shopping bags we have lying around at home. All the staff genuinely seemed happy to be there and friendly, and endeavoured to help me with my gift card.

    In a time when we are all shying away from human interaction, honestly I have to say it was so nice speaking to actual people AND that the conversations didn't feel forced at all. It left with me with a really positive feeling when I left the store, and it's a credit to the people at IGA Bowden. I will be back!

  • Well stocked, no wait checkouts and one stop shop

    Our local store IGA Mosman has a perfect range of products that offers one stop shop. From fresh cakes to convenience meals, in store bakery to BBQ Chickens all available and ready to go. Beside the convenience this store never has queues and with self service checkouts as well as service there is always an option where you can go through straightaway. Some of the everyday prices are actually cheaper than competitors.

  • Absolutely love Iga

    Iga has everything you need for a quick pit stop for those weekly top ups or those go to winter dinner ideas so many bargains to be found in Iga such a variety to choose from. Living rural Iga has become our go to pit stop shop for top ups

  • Super convenient pit-stop shop!

    On my way home from school pick-up I stopped into Chris' IGA at Carina, QLD to buy some lunchbox snacks and dishwasher powder. The carpark was mostly full but the shop itself was spacious with wide aisles, so it didn't feel at all crowded. The aspect that stood out to me was the fact that all the shelves and fridges/freezers were fully stocked - something you don't often see at major supermarkets. The store had everything I was after, however only the smaller size for the dishwasher powder. Many popular items were on special and I ended up with more items than I had planned as a result. The checkout operator was friendly and asked for my rewards card before the scanning began. She also offered me a bag which was gratefully accepted. All in all, it was a very pleasant, efficient and fruitful shopping experience.

  • Decent shopping experience

    I recently shopped at IGA and had a good overall experience. The store was clean, well organised, and easy to get around. I found most things I needed, including fresh chicken, pantry staples, drinks, cereal, and household essentials. The shelves were well stocked, and the fresh products looked good quality. The checkout process was quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful. While some items were more expensive than at larger supermarkets, the convenience and good customer service made the visit worthwhile. Overall it was a smooth shopping trip and I would happily return to IGA for my grocery shopping.

  • I have been a purkle.member for several years now since first reading about it on this MoM’s website. The surveys are fun and i have scored quite a few gifts cards on Purkle after reaching the required.number of points. Its easy to sign up tok so why not give it a go?

  • I have been a Purkle member for 10 years now. At the moment I have over $100 I am able to convert. Surveys can take any where from 3 minutes to 30 minutes and vary in amount you earn. It’s a great way to earn some money when you have free time. I am pretty slack at opening the emails so if I was more attentive I could have earnt a lot more.

  • I have been a Purkle member for approximately 10 years. I have redeemed hundreds of dollars over that time. Once you join, you receive survey invitations via email. I probably receive one invite per week. Some surveys are 5 minutes, others 30 minutes, some hours which enable you to log in and log out to complete. Incentives vary. It does take a while to add up but if you leave the incentives untouched, they eventually add up over time. It’s my little Purple bank account I have in the background of everything else I do.

  • I have been with Purkle for a bit but I actually haven’t seen their email a for a while. I probably should check my account online and check if my emails are going to spam as the emails are what prompts me to go online and complete the available surveys.

  • I have been with purkle for a long time on average cash in about 300 a year, it’s very easy to convert money to useable vouchers. I find it easier to just fill in whilst watching tv or something. Sometimes there are gaps with surveys but tend to save them till end of year anyway

  • I actually signed up to Purkle a few years ago and didn’t really make much money then! Its a good article though, and thanks for the reminder to log back in and do some surveys! Both my kids are at school now, so I do have some more spare time to fill!

  • I have joined purkle years ago and did make a fair bit of money back then when on mat leave doing a fair few surveys. But it has been years since I have used it so this article was a good reminder to get back on it and earn some additional money!

  • Tried it before and it’s definitely one of the better companies to do surveys with. They make it so easy, the website is easy to navigate and the surveys are generally not too long. It’s easy to do whilst on the couch or filling in time! Definitely worth checking out to earn some extra cash.
