Hello!

My favourite supermarket is Coles they always have fresher fruit and vegetables and there meat and chicken is always so fresh vs Woolworths have good specials most weeks but there fruit and veg is not up to the standards as Coles.

  • I find Coles bakery absolutely smokes Woolies in both price and quality. I also hate the wicker baskets woolies insists on having their vegetables sitting in. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked away because they hold black mould in between the woven pieces. What you’re buying isn’t going to last long if it’s already exposed to mould.

  • Coles is our go to, seem to have better fly buyer offers then Woolies rewards program.

  • Coles family here, we use the fly buyer program and it seems to have better deals.
We do shop once a month at Woolies as we get 10% off once a month as we have insurance through them.
Overall I still check catalogues and know they cycle so if it was on special a Woolies this week it will be on special within 4 weeks at coles

  • Aldi, of course! No need for specials when they always have low prices.

  • I go to either Coles or Woolworths mainly because that is the only supermarkets we have here. I shop at both and buy what’s on special at each. I do an online shop days in advance. Coles you pay when they pack the order where as Woolworths you have to pay when you confirm your order. Sometimes it depends if I’ve gotten paid and if I have any money at the time. I like to collect bonus points so will choose the supermarket that if offering the most on what I already would buy without having to go over. Coles have been offering money off if you spend x so much and I try take advantage of that when I can.

  • I love iga supa valu
Incredible selection of products much more then the 3 main supermarkets stock
iga supa valu stock a huge range of local products
    Great range of bulk products
Amazing range of hot food in the hot food bar when your in a hurry
    Full bakery
    Massive fresh meat range
    Competitive prices

  • Coles I guess partly due to familiarity. But with the cost of living I am now scanning specials at Woolworths and IGA and picking up items there when they are on special.

  • I’ve started shopping at Aldi I am literally saving heaps I find I get more bang for my buck. Where as I buy a small bag from Coles and spending $80 each time. And there fruits are fresher and meats less fattier.

  • Woolworths overall. Quality, customer service & Prices is why.

  • My favourite supermarket is Aldi because they have the best fresh fruit and vegetables and they’re Australian grown and great prices and their meat is always so good and Australian and at great prices also. But I do love going to my local IGA store as well. They’ve been here for a long, long time and they have some items you can’t get anywhere else and some of their meat specials are really cheap. I don’t like our local Coles because I’ve seen terrible fruit there and when I’ve asked about it, the staff were rude.

  • Definitely Coles as my main, Woolworths i go to once in a blue moon if i’m in an area without Coles but I find Coles much better! the layout, the products and the prices.

  • I prefer Woolworths. I find they have more meat marked down & better discounts.
I do find I get better value from Flybuys over Everyday Rewards though.

  • I prefer to shop at Coles or woolies. Buy branded products when on special, and mostly store brands for most things, and get points for shopping that I claim rewards for regularly.

  • I shop Woolworths and Coles generally as they are close, but will also shop at IGA and Aldi. Generally I will shop whichever one I am closer to on any given day, but Woolworths has more of the Vegan products I love. Though I always looks for competitions that each supermarket is running and try to purchase those items ‘just in case’ a small purchase can turn into something big.

  • We’re a Woolworths family, mainly because that is the closet supermarket to us and I love to pick up the markdown specials each week!

  • given my choice of any supermarket i’d choose Aldi. but out of the big 2
I find that Coles always has a bigger range of products, but Woolies has better every day lower prices or brands.

  • 100% Woolworths. Tried Aldi but their food items are mediocre. Coles is okay, but definitely notice the difference between all 3 and Woolies is the standout.

  • supporting my family on one wage I shop at all three big ones, Coles, Woolies and Aldi I look for all the specials and divide my shop it makes it a longer process but in the end I save. Shopping is SO expensive.

  • I shopped at Coles for a long time, but recently converted to woolies. I find their fresh stuff much better and their rewards better than flybuys!

  • I’m a Woolworths girl – but i think it really depends on which is closest and easiest
