Mint Green, yellow, grey and white are the most common.
They all actually look really good together too.

I actually love a pale green or aqua. Also those wall stickers you can get are amazing – ie the woodlands forest or under the sea etc. There are lots of different sets suitable for either sex and they are so cute.

I love pale lemon for a nursery. There is also really nice light greys that look gorgeous with natural timbers and white.

Soft tones in earthy colours would be nice.

Any colour except the traditional blue and pink in a soft shade.

I suppose they dont recognize colors straight waylay so it doesn’t really matter though I think if you dont want to be gender specific go with any colors other than pink and blue

Baby does not care what the decorations are like. Cream, pale green, pale yellow are suitable and then can be decorated with cushions and soft toys and other items after baby comes. Then you don’t have to repaint for the next child. You might like to check out fabrics with genderless prints. Animals, alphabet, nursery rhymes for curtians covers and cushions. Some people like to have a particular theme. You might like to keep it genderless until your little one indicates their own preference, by what they are drawn to. You might like to hang pictures of you and your husband as babies on the nursery walls. There is so much variety to browse through. Toy Shops often are a great place to browse for inspiration. Baby furniture stores also sometimes have nursery display areas to offer ideas. If you or a friend is artistic mural painted onto a wall might be all that is necessary.

Greens, yellows, purple. Depending on how you do it, you could even subtlety add a bit of pink and blue

I have seen some funky black, white and gold. Very bold and modern. Whilst it is unisex could also be used for older children too. White walls and team with black and white geometric prints. I do love light blue for girls or boys. Blue is so relaxing and calm.

If you want neutral colours I would choose cream, pale green, fawn.
A nursery is a baby/toddler’s bedroom so you don’t want really bright colours which arouse a baby’s attention or excitement. I have read this in a few articles in magazines, sites like Essential Baby.
