Valentines Day isn’t such an important day for us either

My partner and I don’t do Valentine’s Day. We have bought each other one gift each in our 30 years together. It’s not a highlight of our calendar

My most memorable Valentine’s day was when hubby and I went to Paris for Valentine’s day. We sipped coffee and are French chocolates under the Eiffel Tower. It was so magical. No place like it in the World! I’ll never forget it.

It is fun and gives you time to focus on your relationship when you plan for special days. I already have plans for more memorable Valentine’s Day dates.

This year was completely different! We went and purchased a cot a drawers for our first bub, then we went for dinner.. It was so amazing!!!!!

My wedding day! Despite it being 43 degrees lol lucky it was a morning wedding so everyone was able to leaving mid afternoon

Mostly I do it for the kids…..little hearts in their lunch boxes….little notes. Myself?…..not so much, an occasional bunch of flowers and before the kids we used to go out to dinner.

Havent celebrated it since i got married.. My hubby view is its a waste of money.. and i have to agree with him.. But i did feel special when he came home with a bottle of sparkling wine.. He does this regularly and it has nothing to do with it been Valentines day.. He just like it when we unwind together after kids are in bed over a bottle of wine..

I have been married now for 24 years and have not once celebrated Valentines Day
really not that bothered as they have made it so so commerical its not funny

My partner made a little treasure hunt to the beach with a bunch of roses, chocolates and strawberries :’) afterwards we had a little romantic movie night! He is so sweet!

We have never celebrated Valentine’s Day. So I don’t have a best gift

I guess it was 18 years ago. We married the day after Valentine’s Day. I was living with my “hubby” already and my sister and my best friend had come from abroad to be my witnesses and they were staying with us. On Valentine’s Day my husband gave a red rose to the tree of us with some nice chocolates. It was really sweet of him.
