I know that BB cream tends to have colour and CC is more to do with complexion, like smoothing out skin. At the same time I think CC cream might be more pore clogging. I was told BB cream is sufficient if your skin is okay without much to cover. I treat it like a sheer foundation.

BB cream stands for Beauty Balm and is less correcting, but still fantastic if you get a good one. CC cream stands for Complexion Correction or Correcting Cream, can’t remember the exact wording. Basically CC cream is more of a complexion correction cream, and the pigments generally adapt to your skin and help correct any blemishes etc. It would seem CC cream is the next step up from BB cream of you desire more correction for your skin.

I haven’t used CC cream but use BB cream. I find it makes a difference, takes a lot of the redness out of my skin without blocking up my pores like all other foundation type products I try do.
