I believe anywhere from 6-8 months onwards, but there is a height requirement that baby bunting will ensure you meet before flipping it around.

I have just changed my baby around (he’s 14 months) because he has super long legs. I would suggest turning bub around as soon as it looks like they are too long to fit rear facing comfortably.

Follow the car seat guidelines but also use your own common sense. Once they no longer fit comfortably, it’s time to turn it around

You answered your own question, it is time when they are uncomfortable and do not fit properly. I changed it around about 8 months old, depends on the size of the child.

It partially depends at what age your baby’s head and shoulders reach the marks in the seat, also according to how the baby harness fits. Some babies get motion sickness the same as older children, adults do. A baby laying as flat as they do in the reverse can actually choke on their own vomit. Even if you hear suspicious noises you may not be able to get to the side of the road quick enough. My biggest fear.

It is recommended on the seat with marks on the side. it’s according to the shoulder length of the baby. usually aligns with the age after 12 months of age when they can stable hold their heads.

As long as bub is still under the markers on your seat it is best to keep them rear facing as long as possible. It is over 300x safer rear facing in the event of a collision. Having their legs bent might seem uncomfy for us adults but it really isn’t for bubs. My daughter is 2 1/2 and her legs are bent and splayed but she’s happy enough. Your choice mumma but it is definitely alot safer to stay RF if you can

I think laws are different from state to state but in WA they can be forward facing from 6 months or when their shoulders reach that line on the seat. We moved both our kids at 6 months, they are both really tall so we could & they HATED rear facing.
