I waited until really hot days in summer, mine where all born the previous summer, so about 12 months

I dont think I gave ice cream until he was at least a year old they just dont need it maybe if you made is yourself and it was just fruit and milk

I avoided crap food in my kids diet as much as possible. 18 months they had frozen yoghurt

Both of my boys had really small icecreams for their first Australia day (9 & 10 Months) cute and very messy but they still only get them as rare treats.

We introduced frozen yoghurt at about 11 months. I think the drive was the bany saying I want what you have

Something like ice-cream I’d hold off til after the 12 month mark and then only very little as a special treat
