I had an allergy test as an adult many years ago because I was constantly coughing and tested nothing . At my suggestion I asked if I could have a general allergy test and the doctor did some tests on my skin and it turned out positive. Before I knew it , I bought a packet of Claratyne and my cough subsided.
In your case, perhaps take them to a GP or community centre if your kids are very young and see what they think. Hayfever is the most common allergy in our household.

Not sure if there is an age limit as such. As you and hubby both suffer from allergies, it would be wise to have your kids tested asap, fir peace of mind if nothing else

Have you spoken with your specialist or GP about this? There are lots of allergies in our extended family too and we tried to make sure our little one was not given certain foods – this is quite hard though at other peoples places! Given what you have said, I would do the testing as soon as possible – with advice from medical specialists.

I’d say there is no age limit to when to have your kids tested. Because both your husband and you suffer of allergies, there is a very big chance your kids suffer of something too. So I’d say to have them tested as soon as possible.
