There is a place in Newton, Sydney which is called the stinking bishops.
You can dine in there as well as do takeaway.
They have heaps of cheese dishes as well as platters and for takeaway, they do everything by weight.
They have a really good variety of cheese! Guaranteed you guys will love it.

Australia is huge, I would just google local cheesery in the area you’re planning to travel !

Prahan Maket in Melbourne often have cheese days to taste and experiment.

There are a few around. I’ve been surprised to see them while out sight seeing, in places I never knew they were. I haven’t got around to visiting any yet

I been to quite a few around Australia but have to say Queen Victoria Markets in Melbourne, VIC. Had a great atmosphere to market shop (vintage feel, under cover) and so many assortment of gourmet food to try and compliment with your cheeses! Manage to make a small picnic of it each time I visit.

Adelaide markets has one of the best cheese shops with very ripe and rich cheeses to the mild and creamy. They even stock a good range of fruit based cheeses. I have found there is something for everyone at this shop.

My absolute favourite cheese place is in the Swan Valley WA it’s called the “Cheese Barrel” it is so worth the visit. Try the great selection of cheeses with a nice little glass of Frizzante..yummo
