Hello!

Preferably costing less than $10 a bar with all natural ingredients i.e. no palm oil.
I’m interested in switching to using soap bars to minimise packaging and I have dry skin.

  • Lush has a beautiful range (available online too) and I love their quality.

  • I am sure I have seen some new stock of natural soaps at Priceline Pharmacy. If not go into a health store such as Mr Vitamins or Go Vita and there would be heaps to choose from as they specialise in organic products.

  • Have I suggested Lush? I love their soap (and in fact all their products).

  • As an aside – I’ve been using (and loving) shampoo bars from Shampoo With A Purpose.
They are about $15 a bar, but last for ages, smell incredible, only contain good stuff and no plastic packaging. You can use it on your face and body too. If you are interested, I’d recommend trying their sample pack. It will last you at least a month on it’s own :)

  • I buy them on a website called nourished life

  • Botani make an awesome Olive Cleansing Bar, it is a nourishing and non-drying soap that is ideal for sensitive and/or dry skin. Available online or from Priceline Pharmacies.

  • I really like Goat Soap…. does the job and is very cheap.

  • I buy my eco friendly products from my local bulk food store or from 2 online stores – Nourished Life & Flora and Fauna.

  • My mum had sensitive dry skin and used goat soap which is available from chemist warehouse. It’s natural, has minimal packaging and is under $10 per bar.

  • There are so many natural product companies in Australia. If you can’t find them while out shopping then Google them to find out where to purchase. Why does it have to be a soap bar?

  • I’ve heard people use lush. They have different price categories some are over $10 but there are a few less.

  • Lush – they can be a little expensive, but the quality is great.

  • Any local health food store should have lots of choice :)

  • I have recently seen an Eco friendly soap range at Woolies

  • The Australian Natural soap company, Biome and Ecostore all have eco friendly soaps and all can be ordered online. Also, chemists and Health food stores often have eco friendly soaps.

  • My Mum has bought us stuff from Olieve before and I think their stuff is really good. $5 a bar and handmade. Similar to what you’d find at a farmer’s market. Otherwise health food stores often have good ones.

  • Does goats milk soap suit your skin? I find the goats milk soap in chemists really good.

  • A lot of pharmacies have natural soap bars cost about 3-4 dollars you just have to check what’s in them I get a natural goat milk with oatmeal which has no additives that aren’t natural

  • Depends where you live, but we have farmers markets held near where I live and there is usually a stall there with soaps/body products that are eco friendly and organic

  • At this time because many businesses have gone online there are lots of good deals for first time customers.
