Hello!

I know its winter but no matter what I do my feet are constantly so cold I wear 2 pairs of socks and winter slippers and it gets to the stage that I have to use a hot water bottle just to try and get them warm which does help for a bit and then they are cold again. Any one know why this might be happening? What can I do?

  • Poor circulation or diabetes? Maybe see a doctor.

  • You may have an iron deficiency.. That was one of my symptoms and my gp put me on an iron supplement. It worked.

  • I get cold feet too… I often have low iron so it might be that? Or it could be a circulation issue.. Maybe make an appointment with your GP..

  • It might have something to do with not having a good blood circulation.

  • I have to use a wheat bag but then my feet get too hot…lol.

  • I suffer with cold feet even at night in summer I have to wear socks, for winter I buy the Sherpa lined bed socks from Red Dot. They are the best for winter time and in summer I buy a cotton sock to wear to bed and I’m fine then to sleep. In the day I buy Thermal socks the best or wear my Ugg boots as they keep me warm.

  • Sounds like you may have poor circulation. If you are concerned about it, it’s probably very worthwhile seeing a doctor.

  • I would suggest you visit your GP and get your iron levels checked.

  • check with your doctor why you have poor circulation.

  • Sorry for the question marks …I used a smile face but the site had other ideas. xo

  • 1/ First visit your GP as there are quite a few health reasons for cold feet.
2/ A warm water with Epsom salts foot bath will help with circulation, help to reduce stress, and help with inflammation.
All the very best to you. ????

  • I swear I just saw something about cold feet on The Good Doctor! Get your circulation checked out just in case there’s an underlying reason for it

  • It may be to do with your circulation I find if I walk more my circulation is better and my feet don’t feel so cold.

  • My feet are cold most of the time too. Circulation is part of it I believe as when I move (walk, swim etc) is the biggest relief.

  • Same! I hear a blood circulation issue. TryHaving warm tea and ginger to warm your body from the inside. Stretch etc.

  • Have you checked with GP? Hubby had the same issue with his toes and fingers. Nothing to worry just need to keep moving so blood moves around your body

  • My mother was constantly cold like this. She had issues with her thyroid and low iron levels. My aunt also used to have constantly cold feet and hands, and it was related to type 2 diabetes. Best to head to your GP to investigate. They’ll send you to pathology for a blood panel to check everything, and go from there. :-)

  • I too suffer with cold feet and I bought the Sherpa lined bed socks for bed and Thermal socks for the day and also I wear Ugg boots, also in warmer weather I still have to wear socks so wear a lighter sock as I hate cold feet and can’t sleep.

  • Me too! I found out my daughter has Reynauds so I’m thinking I may have it too. It’s so uncomfortable
