Years ago I had a cat like that and it really frustrated me as well. Our cat ate a lot of grass causing her to vomit… I know cats sometimes deliberately do this as grass nibbling may be of particular importance to outdoor cats who eat prey in order to get rid of any inedible parts that get swallowed (feathers, bones, etc.).

I have the same problem with my little dog. I now feed her a few smaller meals a day, rather then 1 or 2 bigger meals. This has minimised her vomiting but not completely stopped it.

If you have time watch to see if your cat licks her fur a lot? Do you brush or comb her at all?
A friend’s cat won’t them toudh him but I use a flea comb and an angle, not that the teeth point straght into his skin. You may only be able to do it a couple of times then over a few weeks she may let your brush or comb her all over. She less she has to lick and clean her fur, the less likely she is to have furballs. As revulting as it sounds check if you can see any of her fur in her vomit.

There are a number of reasons. Hairballs can cause it but also eating too much or playing too soon after eating can cause them to throw up. If your cat spends a lot of time outside, it could have eaten something that hasn’t agreed with it. Cats eat grass to help tummy aches and digest food properly. Other reasons could be more medical. If you are really concerned I would take your cat to the vet and seek their help. There are just too many reasons for why she is sick so often.
