Hello!

Why is a soap free wash better for our skin, especially Dermaveen? Will this product be of benefit for a young adult with facial acne?

  • My understanding is that it helps to keep your Ph balance (acidity/alkalinity) “right”. Also, soap free may be less drying on your skin.

  • Soap free cleansers are more gentle on the skin, less drying and damaging. It could help with the acne, but results differ in each individual. It’s worth a try

  • Dermaveen is an excellent product for sensitive skin,l would definitely recommend it.

  • Soap can create an abnormal PH level in your skin, resulting in dry skin and the potential of your body producing more oil to fix the PH level. This is not the case for everyone

  • My understanding is Soap free generally means harsh chemical free and Ph balanced so if you have sensative skin it won’t irritate.

  • Apparently all soap has SLS ( Lauren Sulphate ) , which you can look up in Google which creates the “lather ” in cleaning soaps . You can tell because a Non- SLS soap won’t lather . Generally it is for people who have very sensitive skin who cannot use soap and can cause serious reactions to the skin . Most of the soap free ones are slightly dearer and are generally found in a lot of organic skin products as well. I am lucky my skin can take soap as I enjoy the lather , but I don’t like high fragrance cosmetics as it irritates my skin . Having said that my daughter bought some Lush soap products on sale before NY so will do a test on myself as it does contain a certain amount of fragrance .

  • yes this wash is less irritating to people with skin conditions or just sensitive skin.

  • Soap free wash is so much better for our skin as it has less chemicals so it’s less drying a damaging. Dermaveen would be excellent for acne sufferers
