McDonald’s is bringing back some of its most nostalgic designs in a range of iconic drinking glasses, for a limited time, from this week.

The six Collector’s Edition Glasses will be free with any large Quarter Pounder meal, and are embossed with iconic characters that have featured as Macca’s collectibles from the 70s through to the 2000s.

The designs include a nod to eras that throwback to childhood, including the Grimace Mug from 1976, Pet Lovin’ Barbie from 1999, Hello Kitty Crew Keychain from 2000, and Shrek from ‘Shrek the Third’ from 2007 and more.

“McDonald’s collectibles are as iconic as they come. From toys to vintage posters, plates, glasses, merch, games and trading cards, these keepsakes are more than just collector’s items – they unlock some of our fans’ favourite McDonald’s memories,” said Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director for McDonald’s Australia.

“The new collectible glasses commemorate some of our most unforgettable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing longtime fans to relive treasured moments while helping a new generation make their own lasting memories.”

  • These are cute but I absolutely hate cheap glasses. I’m at the age where I don’t want rando pieces in the cupboard.
