Just when you thought you couldn’t love Kmart more, they go and put out a toy range that has us in flutters of love and excitement.

The superstore’s new wooden role play range is seriously next-level and comes in at a significantly lower price point that you would find in other toy stores.

My facebook feed has been flooded the last few days with mums sharing their excitement at discovering this new selection of toys and I couldn’t resist going to check them out.

BAD MOVE (for my wallet)! I came out with a trolley full of the products. They were just too good to resist and I know they will keep my kids playing their imaginative role-play games for hours.

Last year, around about this time, Kmart launched a range of wooden toys that sent shoppers into a frenzy (read about it here). There was bbq, cleaning trolley, range of toys kitchens and a market stall. This year, the new wooden range is just as awesome and includes many more accessories and wooden grocery items.

So let’s look at what’s on offer:

There’s a Wooden Food Set for $8 – so adorable and includes 1 x box of cereal, 1 x apple juice, 1 x strawberry yogurt, 1 x pack of sugar, 1 x tomato soup can, 1 x bottle of honey and 1 x pack of spaghetti.

We’re going nuts over the Coffee Machine playset – 1 x coffee machine, 6 x coffee pods, 1 x mug, 1 x spoon and 1 x portafilter for $15.

A box of 8 wooden cookies is $8 and the wooden microwave is $12.

Kids can also pretend to prepare a roast chicken dinner with the wooden playset (1 x roast chicken, 1 x potato, 1 x onion, 1 x carrot, 1 x tray and 1 x knife for $8).

And follow up main course with dessert – an ice-cream sundae playset for $8 (3 x ice cream scoops, 2 x strawberries, 2 x bananas, 1 x dish and 1 x spoon).

Grab the amazing deluxe wooden toy kitchen for $89 and your kids are absolutely sorted and you may not hear from them for days. Bonus!
