Air fryers are an absolute godsend in the kitchen – with just one little issue. Most of them aren’t big enough to cook an entire meal for the family. But the clever cookies at Kmart have answered our kitchen prayers. We give you: the Kmart Twin Air Fryer.

Aussies have been having a love affair with air fryers for a hot minute now. Air fryer recipes have evolved from the humble hot chip to desserts, breakfast and cakes. Air fryers are just so easy to use, efficient to cook with and healthier than frying. Seriously, what’s not to love?

So when we spied Kmart spruiking a new 9L Twin Air Fryer, we just about lost our little minds. Here’s the lowdown on the new kitchen beast:

It has a 9 litre capacity, that’s 4.5L on each side. And you can independently adjust the temperature in each drawer up to 200 degrees. That means you can cook a dessert and dinner at the same time, even if they require different cooking temperatures. So clever.

It also has an LED control panel, 11 pre-set functions, two removable frying pans for easy cleaning, overheat protection and 60 minute auto shutoff. And it’s only $129. Bargain.

Are Kmart Air Fryers Any Good?

Kmart Twin Air Fryer

Yes, according to the reviews on the Kmart website. The Kmart 7L Air Fryer has a five star average rating, with more than 200 reviews. The 5.3L has more than 1300 reviews, with a five star average and the 3.2L also scores five stars. Pretty impressive.

We have previously reported on a Kmart shopper who said a Kmart Air Fryer damaged her kitchen bench top, however the instructions do recommend placing the air fryers on an insulated heat pad.

On the Kmart website, the new 9L Twin Air Fryer is still listed as a sneak peek and not available for online purchase, but they have been spotting in some Kmart stores already.

  • Oh my gosh, I still don’t have an air fryer lol.
As I’ve said time and time again on here,we just have so many kitchen gadgets that I’ve bought over the years, used once and then never again.
I can’t bring myself to buy more lol.
If I got one gifted then I wouldn’t complain but I honestly wouldn’t go out and buy another thing I don’t know I will use more than once lol.

    • I followed the trend and purchased one. So much hype and it took forever just to cook a batch of hot chips. You’re really not missing out on much.

  • I think I am one of the only people in Australia who doesn’t own an air fryer! I can see the use of having twin drawers. I might have to go down to Kmart and have a look!

    • I don’t have an Air Fryer as I live alone and don’t believe I’d ever use it, and if I did, it would be rarely. I have so many other kitchen gadgets, some I use all the time, some I’ve never used, and some only rarely used. You’re not the only one who doesn’t own an Air Fryer as most people I know don’t own one and don’t want one.
