I make so much in our slow cooker; the list is endless, I am now going to give mashed potato a try, thanks!.

Love this for doing a big batch of mash. Could give this a go for next family dinner when everyone is here.

We love mash potatoes..I’ve never even considered this method before.

For large quantities this might be worth it if you are cooking lots of other things. Otherwise traditional method seems simpler.

Not something I would think of doing in a slow cooker. Potatoes are very starchy. There was no indication that was drained off at all. Is that much butter needed considering the amount of milk used?

Sound’s like a easy and delicious mash!

  Everything from my slow cooker turns out so soft and tender and delicious and tender meat served with this mash would be the best.

It would be great if you had a couple of slow cookers – I will be looking forward to giving this a try next time my inlaws are here

I love to slow cook especially when I have to cook for a bigger crowd. This recipe goes just as quick in a normal pan I think. I noticed they use a lot of butter in this recipe.

  Yes, I noticed the same. I think it’s much easier to prepare mashed potatoes in a normal pan. But I love the slow cooker for other dishes, in particular meat dishes. The meat turns out so tender! 🙂

Ooohhh, never would have thought of doing mashed potato this way. I love the slow cooker too
