Who says Milo is just for the kids? Our childhood favourite sprinkle has made its way behind the bar in the form of a delicious Milo Martini. It’s pretty much a malty boozy milkshake in a martini glass encrusted with Milo (of course).

Make Your Own Milo Martini

You can easily whip up your own Milo Martini in minutes. Now To Love wrangled the recipe from Charlie Ainsbury, twice winner of Australian Bartender of the Year and Spirit Ambassador at Dan Murphy’s.

It’s as simple as mixing and shaking up the following ingredients:

• 30ml Cognac
• 30ml Cream
• 20ml Crème de Cacao
• 1tsp Milo

Dip the rim of your martini glass into a saucer of cream and then dip into a saucer of milo to make a crunchy milo-encrusted rim.
Pour the drink into your glass, sprinkle some Milo on top and take a sip.

YUM!

Defs going to make this for hubby.
I don’t really drink alcohol so I’ll have to make a mocktail version for myself.

  • Hmmmm…. I recently tried an Espresso Martini! Sipped it very slowly, but loved it. Not sure how people have many of them though. More like a dessert for me. Very powerful and potent, too!
