Start as you mean to go on. But dont you love it when a person who hasnt been through that age with their child acts like their child will be so much better then everyone elses?

The only way she will be able to do this and not waste food will be to order her own meal and an empty plate then share her food with her son. Problem solved

There is a few places that have healthy options on their childrens menus. I know of one that has fish & chips….and they serve a lovely freshly made salad with it. (we were sitting across from the kitchen at a country roadhouse and could see them making the salad from scratch….yes it was on the childrens’ menu)

There are a lot of things I never thought I’d do before I became a Mum, but sadly… life is hard with kids and getting them to eat more so. Good luck to her.

  Parenting is a journey and indeed best laid plans do get revised!

We are all naïve when our babies are too young for step 2 – live and learn is the way it has to be.

I found that when my son was a toddler he would just eat some of my meal, seemed to be enough for him, why waste your money.

There are actually some yummy options on a kids menu – good price too.

I think she will be singing a different tune when she realises that kids love eating that type of stuff lol

Why write these things on social media? Easy to say when your child is still a baby. Wait a few years then see.

  My son never ate nuggets and chips because I did not eat them, setting healthy examples worked for me.

It’s funny when parebts forget that kids are their own people too. My youngest won’t touch kid menu items but will devour home made type foods (roasts, pastas and curries) whereas my eldest is the exact opposite.

Everyone has illusions about parenting. They’re shattered soon enough.

I think that some places offer healthy kids’ menus and for a fraction of a price compared to an adult menu.
