Who says people should have all the fun? Isn’t it time that our furry friends get to enjoy cafe life too. We’ve just discovered the awesome Platform Eighty Two cafe that offers the coolest doggycinos, served in a designer doggie bowl.

Platform Eight Two, situated in Sydney’s Concord West, has been a locals’ favourite for almost 5 years now. It’s famed for its crazily over-the-top but scrumptious food platters. But the latest addition to its menu gets first prize from us.

Doggone Good Doggycino

The cafe recently shared a pic of the woofin’-amazing version of their Doggycino served in a Campos dog bowl (only the best for our pooches, of course)….and the internet went wild.

Most pet owners know that dogs can’t eat human chocolate so before they had the pet police bashing down their door, they did add a disclaimer that the treat was made with carob chocolate and dog milk replacer.

The post had thousands of excited doggie owners commenting on the cinos.

“Yay just what everyone wants.. a restaurant that makes dog treats and your food at the same time”, said one.

Others madly tagged their mates asking if they were keen to “take the dogs for a coffee?”

“Can we go on a cute doggie date with our fur babies?”

Spectacular Platters

So while your four-legged friend is sucking down their cino, you can feast on one of Cafe Eight Two’s signature platters.

I’m keen to try the golden crumpet french toast – it seriously is on another level of pure decadence.

There are also heaps of savoury platters and some cultural combos such as the half Middle Eastern and half Mexican platter.

The six most popular platters at the cafe are:

  • World Famous Breakfast Platter
  • American Platter
  • Lunch Platter
  • Mexican Platter
  • Middle Eastern Platter
  • Vegan / Vegetarian Platter

So we will definitely be visiting this cafe regularly, and of course bring our dog to enjoy his doggycino too.

Would your pet like a doggycino? Do you have a favourite pet-friendly cafe? Tell us in the comments below.

  • I’ve no dog myself, but can understand it’s nice for dog owners to be able to bring their pet. I can’t understand why you would spend probably quite a bit of money for such a fancy dog treat.
