I just called Ikea and they said that if I brought it in they would give a full refund even without a receipt.

No, don’t own any of these. I did look at them but decided I didn’t like the small feet on them, didn’t look too stable! Thanks for the heads up!

Good recall, a major safety issue

I don’t own any Ikea products

I love Ikea and wish we had one closer to where I live. A recall can occur to any shop/centre, it is just a good thing that problems that have occurred can be issued with a recall to try to stop further injuries from occurring.

We don’t have any ikea furniture but the cabinet looks really nice.

I have some Ikea cream colour book cases but they fit flat on the floor. They don’t have legs. I bought them second hand from the place I live at and don’t have books for them.

That’s a pretty big fail, really.

I love the Hemnes products even if I don’t have any at home.

Thanks for the heads up. I think this is a risk of many book shelves. We had 2 tear ago shelf cupboards custom made for quite some money and we weren’t pleased the shelves come frequently down.

Wow, that’s scary! Glad we don’t have one, and anyone who does can get it fixed before any injuries occur
