  • Pretty good for essential brand

    4.5 out of 5

I quite like the Woolworths Essential fruit Toast. It’s great for breakfast or morning tea and keeps the kids happy with just a nice layer of salted Butter.

  • Fruit Toast

    5 out of 5

Fruit toast is a delicious sweet treat to eat and good for a lazy weekend breakfast. Homebrand fruit bread has a good crunch and taste when toasted.

  • Okay toast

    2.5 out of 5

For the very low price of this loaf, I guess it’s okay. But when compared to the others it’s a huge difference. In my opinion, it has the lowest amount of fruit per slice. It’s mainly just bread. The flavour is lacking a little. I’ve bought it several times and it keeps well in the freezer, but it isn’t a favourite.

  • Good for price

    4 out of 5

Honestly can’t complain about this fruit toast for the price that it is being sold. It’s thin but that is nice sometimes when you want a lighter meal. Overall good and regularly in our cart

  • Nice for a treat

    3.5 out of 5

This is something that I’ll buy my family for a treat or something a bit different for breakfast. The toast is a bit on the small side, although the slices are reasonably thick. It’s got plenty of fruit in it but I find it a bit too sweet to have a lot of. My kids love it though.

  • Budget friendly

    3.5 out of 5

Definitely needs to be toasted as it’s a little dry, but very budget friendly – great with plenty of butter or a bit of jam.

  • A bit dry

    3.5 out of 5

It is fine for toast, but is quite a dry fruit bread. It needs slatherings of butter to make it stand out. There is a slight hint of spice which is nice.

  • Good value, but not as good as others

    3.5 out of 5

This Raisin bread is good for those on a tight budget. It tastes ok but is quite small in comparison to other products available. I find that woolies only put 1-2 loaves out on the shelves a day as they don’t leave much room to put them.

  • Budget Friendly

    4 out of 5

We only ever usually eat fruit bread toasted. It is not as tasty as some of the more expensive brands but it is budget friendly, great to use to mix up things for breakfast and a buttered, toasted piece or 2 is great with my morning cuppa. My daughter is also a big fan of this.

  • Horrible

    1.5 out of 5

We love fruit loaf in our house and go through a few loaves in the week so I thought id try the woolies brand being cheaper and it was horrible it sometimes pays to stick to certain brands.

  • sweet but tasty

    3.5 out of 5

tastes good and is a really good price. a nice alternative to have as a snack or as breakfast. Actually also really good for dessert with fruit and cream.

  • Ok

    4.5 out of 5

I get this one for the peice but not as much fruit as I would like. still very yummy and freezes well. Makes nice toast.

  • Good Value

    3.5 out of 5

I have bought this one a few times and found it to be pretty tasty and not too sweet. Has the right amount of fruit and toasts well. Definitely recommend.

  • Fruity

    5 out of 5

I absolutely love Woolworths Fruit Toast, it isn’t too sweet and lasts for days. An essential item for my trolley.

  • Definitely Essential !

    4.5 out of 5

I love everything about this – the taste, the balance of fruit to bread, the taste , the slice thickness and of course the price. Yum all round!

  • Excellent Taste

    3.5 out of 5

I love most types of raisin toast and this Woolworths branded essential fruit toast was one I truly devoured. It has a lovely taste and texture and is a great size. It’s excellent quality and will definitely keep buying it.

  • Great value

    5 out of 5

This raisin toast is great value for money. My children can’t tell the difference between the more expensive brand and this. Win win for me

  • Kids love this!

    4 out of 5

My kids love fruit toast and I quite often will buy this one because the price is good. It perhaps isn’t as fruity and nice as the more expensive brands but you do pay for what you get.

  • Budget version

    3.5 out of 5

This is not the best quality fruit bread around but if you are on a budget it is a good choice. I prefer it toasted rather then just as bread. Also works ok in cooking a bread and butter pudding.

  • Bit off

    2 out of 5

not the most delicious tasting fruit taste, something tastes a bit cheap about it and the flavour is a bit off. Not really worth it, better to splurge on something nicer.

  • Ok

    4 out of 5

You do get what you pay for with this. For a fruit toast it goes ok but don’t expect the soft cafe style of the more expensive brands

  • Not for this family

    2.5 out of 5

This Woolies brand Fruit Toast didn’t even come close to other brands. We found the bread to be crumbly and the fruit pieces were all too big and not overly pleasant. Worth spending more on a better quality fruit bread

  • tasty

    3 out of 5

    tasty and reasonable priced

  • Great loaf

    5 out of 5

The Woolies essential fruit bread tastes nice with butter when u have it as breakfast in the morning love the bread has a good amount of sultanas the only thing I don’t like is the packaging I find it not appealing

  • Hard pass

    0.5 out of 5

I’m all for a cheaper alternative but this didn’t live upto my cafe style standard. I found it to be very dry and the fruit was very large very un enjoyable

  • Love fruit toast

    3.5 out of 5

I love a slice of fruit toast with some melted butter. I’m drooling just thinking about this. Woolies brand it just as good as any other without the big price tag

  • Really good

    4 out of 5

This is a cheaper version fruit loaf but it is jam packed with flavour.
Our girl loves it for breakfast as a treat and it is affordable.
    Thanks Woolies!

  • Sweet breakfast

    4.5 out of 5

I like to keep a packet of the woolworths essential fruit toast in the freezer for those days I want something a little different than toast. Its not to thick in its slice so I usually have 2 pieces for breakfast.

  • Good value

    3.5 out of 5

This is a good low price fruit toast option I find it a bit dry and doesn’t stay fresh for long but given the price it’s good

  • Small but sweet

    3.5 out of 5

I find the slices to be very small in comparison to all competitors but find no fault with flavour or quality. Happily buy the home brand over competitors… my hips are probably glad for the smaller slices anyway…

  • Great

    3.5 out of 5

Considering this is a home brand , its really nice. Its one of the best ive tried. Its affordable and available at local woolworths. The bread is nice n the fruit is amazing

  • Good for..

    4 out of 5

Toasting only I always seem to buy this and it ks stale so I quickly put this in the freezer and keep it for a quick breakfast

  • A good choice when on a budget

    2.5 out of 5

Could use more fruit but then it would be more expensive. For the price it is tasty.

  • A sweet change for toast

    3 out of 5

Fruit toast and butter is yummy. This toast makes a change from usual toast. Nice to get around Easter. Fruity hot toast. Jam is nice on it too.

  • Healthyish Choice

    4.5 out of 5

This fruit toast is a good price point, it is delicious and so good toasted with a heap of butter. I love it any time of day

  • Good!

Woolworths Essential fruit loaf is a lovely breakfast treat that is very nice and very affordable to buy.I love the fruits and it’s a good weekend treat.

  • Impressive for the price

    4.5 out of 5

Hubby came home from Woolworths with this Fruit bread as a family treat.
I was pretty impressed. Plenty of fruit, cost effective and not doughy like some brands.
    I’d buy this again.
