  • Nice flavour

    3.5 out of 5

I buy this bread now and then. Not a huge fan as I find that when you make sandwiches it is prone to falling apart. The flavour is okay. One benefit is it has more slices in the pack compared to other Gluten Free brands on the market for the same price. It toasted well too. One down side is that i use Gluten free breadcrumbs in some of my cooking and Helga’s bread unless its really stale doesn’t crumb very well it clumps up instead.
All in all for the price its a good GF bread mainly because I find i have no issues digestive wise when I’ve eating it which is always a plus for me.

  • Good gf bread

    4 out of 5

I like this version of Helgas gluten free bread as my back up option when the five seed is out of stock. It has a pleasant flavour and the texture is close to regular bread. My husband also likes to eat it which says a lot since he generally avoids gluten free products if he can. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for gf bread.

  • Better than most gluten free bread

    3.5 out of 5

Recently tried this helgas gluten free bread and found the taste and texture was so much nicer than other gluten free bread, a little expensive but will buy again.

  • Delicious and perfect for sandwiches

    4.5 out of 5

Before trying Helgas Gluten Free Soy and Linseed, I’d gone through at least 5 other brands. The difference is that Helgas taste and texture is good, like, really good! Perfect for toast or a fresh avo sandwich, I’ll △⃒⃘lways go back for more. Yum!

  • Not bad

    3.5 out of 5

For a gf bread this is not too bad. Not as soft as Abbott’s but still pretty good. Prob my second choice when buying gf bread.

  • Yum

This gluten free bread tastes so good despite being gluten free which usually makes it yuck to me. I get this on mark down occasionally. Not a fan that its half the size and double the price tho

  • Ok

    2.5 out of 5

Got this on markdown pretty cheap so I thought I would give it a go. Don’t need gluten free personally, but was nice enough to try. Wouldn’t buy again full price tho

  • Tastes Okay

    3 out of 5

I have tried gluten free breads out of curiosity and have found that the texture is not to my liking. This bread is okay but a little too dry and sponge-like when it is untoasted.

  • If you must buy GF this is fine

    3.5 out of 5

This is the bread I buy for my daughter, who is celiac. I find it freezes well and is closer to ‘real’ bread than I many.

  • Smaller than your average slice

    2.5 out of 5

I always find gluten free bread to be much smaller in size than normal bread.
I want to have a decent sized sandwich or toast and this just didn’t give me that.
The taste was mediocre and the price was higher than the average loaf. I’ll give it a pass!

  • Soft and useful

    4 out of 5

I’ve noticed that this bread is very soft and tastes almost the exact same as normal whole meal bread. I need it for my son who is gluten free.

  • Bread

    5 out of 5

Helga’s Gluten Free Bread is a good bread to buy when you have a friend coming to lunch that needs gluten free bread. Gluten free bread that is happily eaten.

  • No wheat in it.

    4.5 out of 5

Helga’s Gluten Free Bread means I can freeze some in case our Coelic Disease sufferer calls in at meal time. She is happy it’s linseed instead of sesame seed

  • Not great!!!

    3 out of 5

This bread is quite expensive and is very dry. I thought I would try as I really like soy and linseed and the Helgas brand but I would not buy it again.

  • Not what I expected

    2.5 out of 5

We only tried this brand once, and that was it. The family didn’t like the small packet, and it lacks taste, the price was quite high in comparison to other available.

  • Need this bread - easy to digest

    1 out of 5

So quick to enjoy and love the texture of this bread

  • Helga’s Gluten Free Bread Soy & Linseed

    2.5 out of 5

Personally we prefer Burgen Gluten free bread or even Woolworths Homebrand Gluten free bread withh seeds above Helga’s Gluten Free Bread. The bread is soft enough but kind of dry and simply misses the taste the other breads have.

  • Delicious soft bread

    3.5 out of 5

This is a good GF bread. I like the soy and linseed flavour and think it tastes delicious. The loaf is smaller than non-GF varieties and can be quite expensive. It is a little stodgy however tastes really nice and is a dream when toasted. Would definitely recommend this product
