When I can find this bread in my supermarket I always purchase it I love the size and the flavour although I wish it was cheaper.

I love Burgen rye and rate it as a top quality bread. My only issue is that I have always found the pieces slightly small. I also find it does stay as fresh for as long as other breads.

But taste wise, top marks

Yummy, this is my favourite Burgen bread. It’s dense, filling and has a 4.5 star health rating. I’ve never found it dry unlike some others in the Burgen range.

A great healthy alternative to white bread. Slices are a bit smaller and the price is a little bit dearer but well worth it. Freezers well too

My husband is the one who purchases this bread and he eats it mostly himself. He loves it. I find it a little too heavy and will only eat a slice or two every now and again. It certainly fills you up.

Burgen wholemeal with seeds is a bit too strong of a flavour for my liking. I think it’s a bread that you learn to like. I’m used to white bread, so I need to keep eating it, I know wholemeal is better for you!

I like the taste of Burgen bread and you feel as though it is healthy! But it has a whopping 320mg salt and 5.1g fat per serve compared to plain white bread which contains 1.1g fat and 268mg salt this is high. But it is higher in protein.

always nice and fresh when we buy it and its the right sized pieces i really don’t like bread with small slices. The price is a bonus also.

Burgen Bread is the Best! I just love this bread, the slices seem to be smaller than other brands, but they are denser and fill me up for longer. The bread has a good taste too. When toasted it does not go soggy, always a good crunch.

I like the nutritional value of this bread, which spells HEALTHY, which also means I can eat my daily servings without feeling guilty and bloated! I love the texture of the bread being wholemeal but what I love most is the seeds that makes the bread extra tasty. Just 2 slices is very substantial as a meal. The only complaint I have is that I find the size of slices a bit too small.
