  • Nice

    5 out of 5

If I’m going to pay extra for bread it’s usually for this brand as they have less Ingredients and slightly lower in calories. I use this when I’m wanting to slim down a little bit but otherwise it’s just a nice soft bread

  • Fluffy with nice crust and added wholemeal benefit

    4 out of 5

I tried this as an alternative to the white Country Split bread and it has the same fluffy consistency and crispy, though not too hard outer crust, with the added benefit of wholemeal. It stays soft even after a few days as opposed to others which tend to harden soon after purchase.

  • Crunchy

    5 out of 5

The buttercup country split wholemeal bread is a great bread it is very crunchy and yummy with butter and ham for breakfast love the sesame

  • Smaller slices

    4 out of 5

Smaller slices means better portion control with my sandwiches which is great to help me keep my weight in check. Still yummy another bread I find

  • Love the taste!

Love the sesame on top. The shape of the bread is not the best for the jaffle maker but other than that it is a great wholemeal loaf.

  • Soft and light

This is a lovely soft and light bread with crunchy sesame seeds. Stays fresh longer than most brands and is perfect for picnic and lunchbox sandwiches.

  • Tasty

We used to love this bread. We loved the flavour and the seeds. Even the unusual shape. Lately it’s been very dry and is stale after a day

  • Sunday fave

Love this! Fresh wholemeal bread, so soft, with added seeds. Love the seeds, extra flavour, texture and goodness. I buy every week.

  • Country Delight

    5 out of 5

I really do love the taste of Country Split bread and particularly love this bread when spread with butter and with sliced banana and drizzled honey.

  • Ok bread

    2.5 out of 5

I’m not a fan of the seeds, I have never understood why people add seeds when making bread. The bread is ok, depends what you are using it for. I would consider it average.

  • Perfect with butter and honey!

    4 out of 5

We only get this bread occasionally but when we do , I love it toasted with butter and honey! It is also good with jam. I didn’t give it 5 stars as it’s not my every day bread just one I buy to mix it up a bit.

Oh my goodness I have not had this bread since I was a kid, then i was helping the other day at a school and they had this bread. It is sot, hard to spread sometimes, but the grains on this bread mean it’s not particularly nice.

  • Love this bread

This is my most favorite bread. It’s size, thickness, taste, texture.., everything is just perfect. My whole family is a big fan of buttercup country split wholemeal bread.

  • good

    3.5 out of 5

This Buttercup Country Split Wholemeal Bread is good but it is not my favourite! its very soft, it still tastes very nice even if u leave it in the fridge for a few days!

  • Sesame crusted

    3 out of 5

Country Split bread is soft and keeps very well in the fridge for a few days. Only problem I have with it is the sesame seeds which stick in your teeth. i have heard several people pass the same comment. Also it is smaller than standard size loaves of bread

  • Always springy and so soft

    4.5 out of 5

This bread is one of my favourites if I want to get a loaf that is made not too heavy for your stomach, and have eaten it numerous times on its own because it is so soft , light and tasty . Even the bag springs back so the softness is evident from the outside . It would be great if they could also make one without sesame seeds as sometimes I like to have plain crust .

  • Simple but Tasty

    4 out of 5

In a bread aisle full of fancy breads of all types, sometimes the simple and plain breads that fly under the radar can be among the nicest. This Buttercup Wholemeal variety is a good example of that. It’s quite tasty and particularly good when toasted.

  • Not Bad

    3 out of 5

I have only purchased Buttercup country split wholemeal bread on a couple of occasions but find it a bit too soft for my liking. It’s okay if toasted.
