I find promite is sweeter than Vegemite they get compared alot, as a child I preferred promite but my dad hated the smell of it so I was rarely aloud it forgot about it until I seen it here will have to see if I like it now as an adult and review again

Firstly, you don’t have to like promite OR Vegemite. You can like both. And i do. Great spread for brekkie with a nice strong tea. And for some reason we always take this camping and seems to taste better in a camping trip.

We only eat promite here, no Vegemite. It’s the perfect blend of salty and sweet. Great on toast with cheese or I make savoury scrolls with it

I like both this and vegemite, and have eaten them since I was a kid. I think promite is a bit sweeter and less intense than vegemite. I still can’t get my kids to eat either.

As a child I ate Vegemite. It wasn’t a favourite.Then switched to Marmite. A much better taste. And at last I discovered Promite and have had a love affair with it all my life. Gorgeous under some cheese, or just plain. Delish! Drooling as I type this.

I’ve grew up with promite and absolutely love it. I think everyone should try this spread. I love having it on toast with a cup of coffee in the morning.

We like promite as it is similar to vegemite but a bit sweeter and lighter. Great spread for school lunches. A hit with all my kids.

To me, promite leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I much prefer vegemite. But my husband enjoys this better so we buy both. He won’t ever convert me though!

Whilst I’ve always preferred Vegemite, I buy Promite as my kids prefer it. Sometimes, eg when I make toast to dip in milo, Promite is the better tasting option. It’s good, but Vegemite is my go to

Vegemite is way too fabulous to even consider using promite. Promite seems to leave a bit of a lingering aftertaste and Ive tried it numerous times and cant seem to like it.

I have tried this but not a fan. Always go back to the traditional old vegimite as this Promite has been sitting unused for some time. Any other uses anyone can recommend?

I love vegemite but I love Promite more! The whole family have this on there toast every morning more than vegemite. I always keep two jars incase I ever run out.

Its great product for someone who doesnt like vegemate-like my husband but he loves promte. Its much smoother and taste a little less salty and yeast like other product.

I love promite on toasties as a quick lunch or arvo snack but I think I’m the only one in my family who does. It’s definitely strongly flavoured & an acquired taste..

Our family lives promite and we find it isn’t as salty or intense as vegemite. Our favourite way to have this is on toast with butter and cheese. So tasty!

Promite is a great product, it isn’t overly salty and doesn’t have a bitter after taste like similar products.

This product cannot be compared to the classic Australian product ‘Vegemite’. Very sticky, very sickly. The only use I have had for it is to put a spoon full in stews but other products are better to use. No worth picking up off the shelf in the supermarket.

I always keep a jar of this in the pantry and is a staple item in my household. It’s delicious on a well buttered piece of toast with a slice of cheese on top. It’s much sweeter than vegemite and an all round nicer spread in my opinion.

This promite is delicious and great on toast for breakfast, at an affordable price it is wonderful value as the jar lasts a long time. I would happily re-purchase and recommend to others, fantastic.

We LOVE Promite. I always have 6-8 jars of it in my pantry. We eat it on toast everyday at breakfast. I love it with blue cheese. Delicious!!

I grew up on this while everyone I knew ate Vegemite haha. My dad and I both agree you need 40% promite to 60% butter on hot toast. Perfect!!

Promite is great ! I love the taste of Promite over the other similar spreads. Perhaps because Promite is a bit sweeter. It’s a great way to get a hit of vitamin B too.

I have grown up with Masterfoods Promite Spread and my mum still buys this in her shop after all these years.

It’s an ok spread but they are clearly trying to copy Vegemite and that’s my favorite. My son seems to enjoy it I must say.

I love promite. Its unique taste is the perfect blend of savoury and sweet. Promite on toast single handedly got me through the first sickly weeks of all four of my pregnancies. Perfect for sandwiches and crackers too. Promite is delicious.

We were staying over with family and come breakfast time there was no vegemite,so instead l tried promite and it wasn’t bad at all! I liked the flavour and it was tasty and great on toast!

It’s a staple in our house! I prefer is sparingly on toast with butter, it’s deliscious! We also use it in our mince pies to give it that extra special taste! Yum

For me Vegemite is like rock and roll while Promite is like pop music. I love to bop along to pop music like most people but it’s rock and roll that really moves me. Not as rich in flavour. So this is very good but not great.

I love Promite on toast for breakfast. A perfect breakfast with butter and promite on thick toasted bread. I like the savoury but sweet flavour of this spread.

I love this on toast with plenty of butter. It’s sweeter than vegemite, and I enjoy both just as much, it just depends what I feel like as to which one I choose.

Ive been using promite for ages and i love it i actually prefer it than vegimite sometimes. Its great with cream cheese on bread so yum.

Just as my title suggests I find Promite really yummy. I prefer Promite over Vegemite any day with its sweeter smoother flavour it leaves a nice after taste in the mouth.

I love promite, I eat it everyday it’s one of my favorite spreads I have it on rice crackers on toast on sandwiches, Mmmm it’s Tasty ????
