This pancake mix make for a great breakfast that I try to encourage the children to make themselves on days with time (usually on weekends). It fosters their independence and they eat the pancakes with no complaints. Would recommend with whipped cream and topped with berries. They also enjoy combinations with nutella.

After reading these reviews I decided to give this pancake mix a try and it was a bit hit with the family. The pancakes were easy to make and turned out so light and fluffy. We added honey, stewed berries and cream to our pancakes and wowweeee, better than a cafe. It will become a regular purchase for me.

Love these for quality pancakes with a yummy taste but definitely wish they have the water line on the packaging so water added is exactly right. We paired this with the black and gold lemon juice to make a beautiful breakfast for the family. Highly recommend trying these pancakes if you like delicious things!

The black and white pancake mix is very handy for a quick and easy breakfast or snack for my family. They are very convenient and very quick to make on the pan. They taste the same as the more expensive brands. They are highly recommended in my house hold now.

Easy to make breakfast to feed family of four. Mix was super easy to make and pour. Just don’t forget to screw the lid on tight when shaking ! HaHa Batter cooked a little thick but were tasty. Great value for money and went really well with Black & Gold’s thickened cream and butter.

This bottled pancake mix is a great value option for special family breakfasts. Super easy to make, just add water and shake before cooking of the frying pan. Just as good as the more expensive alternatives from the shops and made more pancakes than what the bottle indicated so that was a bonus.

We purchased this pancake mix to try for breakfast where we usually purchase the more expensive fancier brands. Black and gold delivered on the quality and the taste was fantastic too. We don’t know why we’ve never tried this. Good value for money and easy to whip up on a weekend morning for the kids.

This pancake mix is a great budget-friendly breakfast idea that is quick and easy to use. I love that you only need to add water! The pikelets I made using it turned out fluffy and were super tasty. They were gobbled down super quickly! I added a little vanilla and cinnamon to the mix to elevate the flavour a bit, but it didn’t really need it. A pantry must-have for this morning’s when you want something a little sweet for breakfast or morning tea.

These pancakes have the standard pancake mix flavour but it is hard to get a smooth consistency. Even when well shaken they do come out with lumps of powder which go hard when cooked. This usually happens to all the pancake shake mixes so it’s not unique to this brand.

This pancake shaker mix is super easy to make, pour in the water as directed and shake your little heart out. Cook to your liking. The pancake shake mix is so yum. The whole family loved it. It’s such great value as it made so many pancakes out of the bottle. The taste was delicious and we added so fruit on top. The quality is fantastic and I will be added more of this to my shopping list.

I made a large baked pancake with this. I added some banana to the top with a little bit of sugar which I browned off under the grill. Might try a different fruit next time or add some maple syrup before baking.

Pancakes are always a treat in our house and these did not disappoint! So easy and quick. So delicious, they certainly didn’t last long. Easy instructions, great flavour and great price point. Will be adding these in to our rotation. These would be great also to make for a cute little lunch box addition!

Couldn’t find the right heading but I bought the facial tissues. They were much thicker than expected and passed the nose blowing test. Will buy these again for sure.

I really enjoyed cooking up this affordable pancake mix. The kids loved the taste and I would drizzle extra maple syrup ontop of these. For its price point it’s super affordable as compared to the other brands. The quality is decent and tastes the same like others. I’d highly reccomend this product!

We decided to try Black & Gold pancakes from our local IGA this weekend. They were only $2.25 and saved me so much prep work. They were easy to prepare, just add water and shake. Make the kids do this part lol and shake and shake, then pour into pre heated pan with lots of butter. Topped with syrup and ice cream was just like at the cafe. 100% recommend, Mums give this a go!
