These are well marinated and seasoned and add a lovely taste to the artichokes; great in pizzas, salads, platters and also in vegetarian rocket wraps or rolls.

We have never had artichokes before but we had a tin of Always Fresh Hearts -Whole that we obviously bought for a dish but didn’t use them. What to do with them??? Using the Always Fresh website for recipes we decided to batter them, deep fried them and put them with a antipasto served warm. With two vegetarians in the family we were lucky to get a couple in they were a huge winner. We will do that again at the next family function.
