I’m a big fan of the Hart and Soul range. It has real flavours. The latest one I’ve had was the Coconut Lentil Soup. It comes out of the pouch thick like a paste but once warmed up looks more like a soup. Full disclosure – I’m not a big fan of chilli, I like it but only when it has other flavours like lime to tone it down. I wasn’t prepared for the chilli hit in this one and my mouth was on fire. I loved the chunkiness of the soup with real pieces of potato. I could not really taste any coconut. Its a really nice warming soup but I wont repurchase this particular flavour.

Really great flavour. Little bit of a herby spicy sort of flavour but I wouldn’t call it ‘hot’. Super quick to just heat up in a pot and enjoy. Add some sourdough bread with butter if you want a side or naan bread. Very quick enjoyable meal when you are lacking time and energy.

I was surprised at how nice this soup was. The coconut wasn’t overpowering and it had just the right amount of spices. A really nice combination of flavours.

I really enjoyed this soup, the coconut and lentil flavours work really well together and the texture and consistency of the soup was delicious, i will definitely be buying this again.

A great quick and easy soup with an excellent ingredients list, no hidden nasties. Very tasty and perfect for a cold winters day on the go.
