Hoyts Cloves Whole = a delicious clove, perfect in sizes, delicious in taste and amazing in smell. Love placing cloves in my apples as they stew, having the scent fill the house is just pure delicious. Gives the stewed apples a beautiful flavour.

Hoyts is a great brand . It’s cloves smells great , so fresh to use, cheap in price, small packaging but enough even in a single packet.

I like to buy Hoyts cloves for when I want to fill up my little jar of cloves. I buy other brands too but like Hoyts for the price and for the jar of cloves I take on holidays.

Strangely enough, I didn’t use these for cooking. I had a massive toothache and rang my mum. She suggested that I bite on the clove, where my tooth was sore! So I went and got a pack and did as she suggested, the taste is a strong aniseed flavour, that was quite intense..and it had a numbing effect on my gum, causing some of the pain to subside, long enough for a dentist visit!
