Article Recall Issued For Popular Baby Clothing Range

A recall has been issued for an entire range of Bloom and Grow baby clothing label due to fire hazard concerns.

The recall includes Babies bodysuits and rompers in various models and sizes from newborn to 9 months.

The product does not comply with the mandatory standard. The fire hazard labels do not comply with the standard because they are printed in red ink instead of in black ink.

As a result, Parents and carers may not be aware of the fire hazard and infants may be at risk of burn injury as a result.

Consumers are encouraged to immediately stop using the product and contact Bloom & Grow for a replacement fire hazard label.

  • I know these warnings are mandatory, but I just don’t get how having a label means parents let their babies too close to fires. Surely basic common sense is to keep kids away from things that can burn them, regardless of what’s on the label
