  • I love how apples and cinnamon taste so well together. This will be our new weekend brekkie delight. The ingredients are easily found all year round. I’m always looking for new ideas for my family and this will be a favourite as they all love the taste of apples and sultanas.

  • Recipes like these make me realise just how boring and stuck in my ways that I am. This sound’s very moreish and I actually bought Green Apples this week. I’ll give it a try.

  • As the mum of two toddlers we have an endless supply of half eaten apples in our home on a regular basis. I love this idea and it freezes really well also. It’s so tasty and we have recently been enjoying this on our mini pancakes for brekky which both kids have loved

  • This is such a fun option for breakfast! It’s almost like having pancakes, but quicker and more healthy! I am not sure why recipes always say to use granny smith apples in cooking – I have used other red varieties and don’t find the taste to be any different and they are something we always have on hand. I would probably swap out the sultanas for dates though. A great idea!

  • This sounds like the perfect Sunday breakfast especially when I have the grandies staying over. They love an apple pie, perfect for some of our mornings we are still getting in Victoria. I have never seen almond butter but will go searching for it, maybe a cream cheese might be a good substitute if I can’t find it.

  • I used to make a mix similar to this and have it over yoghurt or on a thin thats spread with cream cheese. I have never used almond butter but think i would stick with the cream cheese for this recipie.
Sounds like an awesome way to start the day .
