Spice things up a little with this quick and easy brekky.

With warm apple and cinnamon, these classic flavours compliment each other beautifully, creating a deliciously moreish combination.

We love that there’s so many ways to enjoy this versatile brekky mixture, pop it on top of porridge, or enjoy it as an open toastie.

We enjoy making this brekky, using this classic apple and cinnamon mixture. A take on your classic french toast, we take a slice of Tip Top Thins and cover it with almond butter before adding the mixture on top.

The recipe is sweet but not overly so, and boy does it warm the soul.

  • Ooooh these look so yummy! I wonder if my children would eat these too!
I’m not a huge fan of sultanas so if I made these I’d either just leave them.off or substitute for something else but I do love the look of the apple and cinnamon and almond butter together so yummy

  • What a great family breakfast! Cooked apples are a popular food in our house, and I love how sultanas could be swapped out for any berry in season at the time if you wanted to make it even sweeter. We are loving Tip Top Thins right now, my toddler is discovering his love for sandwiches and they are going down a treat!

  • Can’t say I’ve thought about putting this on thins, but have done this exact combination on porridge and weetbix in the colder months, or if I’m feeling down. Definitely going to try it on thins, but perhaps I’ll toast them first for a box of crunch, then maybe try just thins.
