This delish recipe has the same great taste as an Italian lasagna but easier. Made with gnocchi and meatballs!

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 500 grams Beef Mince
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 Brow Onion
  • 375 grams Ricotta Cheese
  • 500 grams Gnocchi
  • 700 grams Pasta Sauce (Like Tomato & Basil)
  • 1 Bunch Fresh Basil

Method

  1. Combine beef mince, breadcrumbs, garlic and egg. Form into 1 inch size meatballs.
  2. Add onion and olive oil to pan. When onion browns, add meatballs and brown.
  3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Layer pasta sauce, gnocchi and add meatballs and lumps of ricotta to a casserole dish. Bake for 20 mins.
  4. Season with salt and Pepper. Top with fresh basil for a hint of freshness.
